Deciding when and how you want to be notified ensures you stay up-to-date with your team's activities without feeling overwhelmed. Borderless AI allows you to customize your alerts for various tasks, including expense approvals, invoice updates, and time-off requests.
Accessing your notification settings
To view or change your current notification preferences, follow these steps:
Log in to your Borderless AI account.
Click on your user profile icon located in the top right corner of the navigation bar.
Select Profile from the dropdown menu.
Navigate to the Notifications tab located in the top menu bar.
How to enable or disable notifications
In the Notifications tab, alerts are organized into categories such as Account notifications and General notifications. For each alert type, you can choose exactly how you want to receive it.
Delivery Methods
You can opt to receive notifications through any combination of the following channels:
Email: Sent directly to your linked email address.
Push: Sent to your device if you have the mobile app installed.
In-platform: Displayed directly within the Borderless AI application.
Updating your preferences
Review the list of available notification triggers (e.g., Expense requests, Time off requests, Contractor Invoice updates, KYC verification success).
To enable a notification: Check the box corresponding to your preferred delivery method (Email, Push, or In-platform) next to the relevant event.
To disable a notification: Uncheck the box for the delivery method you no longer wish to use.
Once you have finished adjusting your preferences, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button to apply your changes.
Note: Borderless may still send you important messages about your account and content outside of your preferred notification settings to ensure compliance and account security.
