Business users can easily track their employees' Borderless onboarding progress on the platform.
- Click into the Hires page. This shows a list of all hires (both employees and contractors) who have accepted their invitation to join Borderless. This list shows the hires' Onboarding Statuses.
- The three possible Onboarding Statuses for employees are:
: This means Borderless employee onboarding is incomplete. Employee payroll cannot be processed.
: This means Borderless employee onboarding is complete. Employee payroll can be processed.
: This means the employee is not longer active on Borderless. Employee payroll cannot be processed. To view all inactive hires, toggle the filter on the top right of the table.
- If you don't see your employee's name under the Accepted tab, check the Invitations tab. The list of hires under this tab have not yet accepted their invitation to Borderless, and as such, cannot start their Borderless onboarding. This list shows the hires' Invitation Statuses.
- The three possible Invitation Statuses are:
: This means you (or the responsible business user from your team) have not yet finished submitting the basic required information on your employee. To complete this step, simply click on your employee's name, click on their contract, review their details, and click submit.
: This means the basic required information on your employee has been submitted to Borderless for review, and the employee's corresponding Statement of Work document is ready for signature on the Home page. Once the Statement of Work document is signed by the appointed business user from your team, Borderless will finalize the employee's employment agreement.
: This means the Statement of Work document was signed and the employment agreement was finalized, but the employee has not yet accepted their invitation to join Borderless.

- In the list of hires on the Hires page, click the name of your employee. This will bring you to the employee's Hires Overview page. Here you can see the details of the employee's Onboarding Status, and which steps are complete.
- The steps listed under "Inviting new hire" (the first tile under Onboarding Status) are not the employee's responsibility to complete – you (or the responsible business user from your team) must add the employee's employment details and sign the Statement of Work.
